How long will my interior repair or upgrade take?

The timeline depends on the service. Minor repairs (like foam patching, stitching, or small upholstery fixes) may take just a few hours. More extensive work—such as headliner replacement, full carpet replacement, or custom interior upgrades—usually takes a full day or more. We’ll give you an accurate estimate after inspecting your vehicle at our Mangere workshop.

Can you match the original materials and colours?

Yes. We source a wide range of premium materials—fabric, leather, vinyl—and many colour options. Our process includes colour matching and texture matching so repaired or upgraded parts (seats, door panels, carpets, etc.) blend seamlessly with the rest of the interior.

Is repairing upholstery / foam / door panels more cost-effective than replacing everything?

Absolutely. Repairing upholstery, replacing foam, or fixing door panels tends to be significantly cheaper than doing full replacements. When damage is localized (a tear, sun damage, sagging material, flattening foam), repair can restore both look and comfort at less cost than replacing entire components.

Will a headliner replacement fix sagging, stains, and odours?

Yes. A full headliner replacement addresses peeling/sagging fabric, old stains, and moisture damage which often causes odours. We also clean and prepare the backing board, use fresh fabric and foam backing, resulting in a clean, tight-fitting look that helps with insulation and interior freshness.

Can the carpet replacement improve noise and comfort in my car?

Definitely. New carpets (especially ones with decent padding or underlay) help reduce road and tyre noise, improve insulation from road heat or cold, and give your interior a much more comfortable and upgraded feel. Plus, they freshen up the look and can help with resale value.

For custom seat covers or interior upgrades, what customisation options do I have?

Lots. You can choose materials (leather, premium fabric, vinyl), colours, stitching styles (contrast, embroidery, piping), trims/inserts, patterns, and finishes. Upgrades can include matching door panels, upgraded dashboard trims, premium padding or foam, upgraded headrests, lighting accents, etc.

Does repairing foam under the upholstery affect fit or safety?

No, when done properly. Our process involves removing upholstery carefully, restoring foam shape with high-density replacements, and reapplying the upholstery so the fit remains correct. For seats with side airbags or other safety features, we ensure repairs are compatible and don’t interfere with function.

Will any warranties or guarantees apply to the work?

Yes. We guarantee workmanship, the durability of material installation, seam stitching, and fit. Materials may have their own manufacturer warranties as well. (Specifics to be discussed and confirmed with each individual jobs)

How should I care for my new or repaired interior?

Some general tips:

Clean spills immediately.
Use cleaners recommended for your material (vinyl, leather, fabric).
Condition leather regularly to prevent drying and cracking.

Yes—we offer free quotes. You can bring your vehicle in or send photos. After assessing the condition (damage extent, materials needed, labour), we’ll provide you with a quote that outlines cost and timeline.
